The Pre-Baptism Class is offered at St. Raphael's on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in St. Raphael's room. The class is required for parents, registered at St. Raphael's Parish and desiring to baptize their first child at the parish. Baptismal sponsors (godparents), family members, or parents seeking a "refresher course" are most welcome to attend the class as well. Call the Church Office at 763-537-8401 x201 for a registration form and to register for the class and date of Baptism.
The hour-long class is designed to instruct parents on the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism, its symbols and the celebration of the Rite of Baptism. A brief reintroduction to Natural Family Planning (NFP) concludes the evening by qualified instructors.
