He also reported on the favorable promotion for the Annual Catholic Appeal and the positive evaluation of Catholic Schools Week.
No report submitted by the Chair.
Rita Degnan reported that members of the parish Finance Committee discussed the first published report from KKE Architect firm on recommendations to improvements to the parish school building.
Jeanine Machan reported on the ongoing progress of the parish Commemorative 50th Anniversary Book that included a review of the pages of content for the years of pastorate of Fr. Fenelon, as well as efforts in progress for picture selections for the section on the years of the current pastor.
Steve Connolly gave a report on the current status of school website developments and noted that the church website could unite with the school website. A motion to establish a new parish Technology Committee, for the benefit of church and school, to address technological improvements and make recommendations was made. A discussion followed with the motion unanimously approved.

OLD BUSINESS:
Jim Hentges reported that 101 people are currently participating in 11 small groups for the Evangelization Initiative.
Jim Hentges reported that a parish letter would be sent to the residents of the new homes in the Winnetka Greens Development to welcome families to the neighborhood. The letter includes important information about the parish and school. There would be two mailings and two open houses, for the current residents in April, and after the rest of the development along Bass Lake Road is completed, for the remaining new residents in September. It was also proposed that families that currently do have students enrolled in our parish school, but live outside the area and belong to other parishes, would likewise be invited to the open house.
Jim Hentges reported on more details for the Parish Lenten Mission. Fr. Juettner distributed copies of a letter of invitation and explanation about the Mission that will be sent in the mail the week of Feb 14 to all registered families to strongly promote their attendance at the Parish Lenten Mission, held from Feb 27 to March 3.
The Vocations Promotion program "Called By Name" received a positive evaluation with 133 nominations submitted. Members of the Vocations Committee are now calling those persons, who were nominated to consider priesthood and religious life, to invite them to a supper on March 8th with one of the Bishops and other nominated persons from other parishes in the Archdiocese which also conducted the "Called by Name" promotional program. The Archdiocesan Vocations Office will host the supper and informational meeting.
Tom Trsak presented Council members with a timeline for the Discernment Process for five new members to the Parish Pastoral Council. He is preparing the text, with an explanation of the discernment and nomination process, which will be read at each Mass on Nomination Sunday, March 12/13.
