Imagine getting up Christmas morning with no presents under the tree and not even the aroma of a special meal baking in the oven. Then watching all the other children in their excitement enjoy their new clothes and toys and you have...nothing - not even the bare necessities like a new pair of mittens, hat, scarf, sweater or even a flannel shirt just to help keep you warm during the cold winter months.

Every time a hand reaches out to help another...it's Christmas. Would you please help me to get a head start on the "Adopt-A-Family" Christmas list? Perhaps an explanation of our program would be helpful...

Families who are facing financial set-backs due to the increase of medical bills, job loss (down-sizing), rent, gas, repairs for their car, the price of groceries, or other problems have an impossible task in trying to provide a Christmas with all the trimmings or even the bare necessities for their children. This would include gifts or probably help in providing a Christmas dinner either through donation, gift certificates or you do the shopping at a grocery store. What a great feeling to be able to help someone. Were it not but for the grace of God it could be me in this same situation.
